Meet Mechelle Flowers — Atlanta Artist | Art By Mechelle
Mechelle Flowers is a multidisciplinary fine artist and lifelong entrepreneur whose work is rooted in creativity in all its forms—from visual art and mixed-media expression to technology, systems, and business innovation. Her artistic practice centers on transformation: exploring materials, ideas, and processes through fine art disciplines, hand-crafted works, and multimedia forms that blur the boundaries between art, design, and function.

She has been creating for as long as she can remember. For her, art is not a hobby or a career choice — it is a lifeline. Living with anxiety and depression, Flowers discovered early that the act of creating demands complete presence. When her hands are moving and color is taking shape on canvas, everything else quiets. That is where she lives most fully.
Born creative and shaped by a lifetime of experiences — some she grew because of, others she grew despite — Flowers approaches her work with one guiding principle: no rules. Where other artists anchor themselves to a signature palette or a single style, Flowers deliberately resists that pull. Her work spans oil, acrylic, watercolor, mixed media, and collage — moving across florals, landscapes, wildlife, and abstraction not because she hasn't found her voice, but because her voice refuses to be contained by one conversation.
Color is her obsession and her playground. She moves freely across the spectrum, untethered from trends or the color of the year, driven instead by what a particular moment, feeling, or subject demands. The result is a body of work that is unmistakably hers — not because it always looks the same, but because it always feels the same.
Each piece is one of a kind — painted by hand, signed, and sent into the world with the hope that it will make someone pause, breathe, and feel something worth feeling.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Ecology with a focus in Interior Design from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, grounding her creative work in spatial awareness, materiality, and human-centered design.
Mechelle founded The Training Factor, a technology-driven company focused on professional training, systems development, and scalable education solutions. She later founded Celebrity Ballroom Dance Studios, translating creative vision into a successful multi-location enterprise. She is also the founder of Hunt & Find Online, a creative retail brand featuring curated antiques and original artisan pieces, and an authorized Dixie Belle Paint stockist supporting the maker community.
In addition to her creative and technology ventures, Mechelle is an active investor and rental property owner, applying the same artistic thinking and strategic discipline to long-term asset building and investing.
